How to use it

Ordered by how much work it takes.

1. NYPL card

   Set up first

   Needs: Library card

   Free admission to 80+ NYC cultural institutions: Metropolitan Museum of Art, Guggenheim, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, NY Botanical Garden, Museum of the City of NY, NY Historical Society, Museum of Chinese in America, Brooklyn Museum, Rubin Museum, Museum at Eldridge Street, and more.

   Limits: 4 active reservations max. Passes released on the 1st of each month for the following month.

   Can replace: Individual museum admissions ($15-30 each). Met Museum ($30), Guggenheim ($25), MoMA ($25), NYBG ($28), Brooklyn Botanic Garden ($18).

2. BPL card

   Set up first

   Needs: Library card

   Same as NYPL — free admission to 80+ NYC cultural institutions including Met, Guggenheim, Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, and more.

   Limits: 4 active reservations max. Passes released on the 1st of each month.

   Can replace: Individual museum admissions ($15-30 each)

3. QPL card

   Set up first

   Needs: Library card

   Same as NYPL/BPL — free admission to 80+ NYC cultural institutions.

   Limits: 4 active reservations. 1 per institution per calendar year.

   Can replace: Individual museum admissions ($15-30 each)

4. All three systems card

   Set up first

   Needs: Library card
